Perfume bottles are getting real collection items. If you see how those bottles are designed by the most reputated design companies, anften by well known artists, this shouldn’t be a surprise. To me, perfume is a fascinating subject. I’m not really sure why, but perhaps it is the work that must go into developing a single scent. Every perfume on the market was labored over for quite a while before it was stuck into perfume bottles and shipped off to stores. There are people who specialize in scents, and the mixing of these scents, and it takes them quite a while to come with the perfect mix for a new perfume. The next time you pick up perfume bottles in the store, remember how much work goes into the product.

Most perfume bottles are made of glass, though some come in plastic. I dare say you won’t find any high-end perfume in plastic, but that’s just a guess. For most people, glass is preferable for perfume bottles, and much of this has to do with presentation. Clear glass perfume bottles show off the distinct color of a perfume, and can be made into almost any shape you can imagine. Sometimes simply the color of the perfume and the shape of the perfume bottles is enough to sell the product.

While most people cannot make their own perfumes at home, many people start a small business with scented candles, lotions and soaps. Candles are often self-contained, but if you sell lotions or liquid soaps, you need something to put them in. Some people like to use perfume bottles for this purpose. They often buy them in bulk, and can then fill them with whatever product they happen to be selling. If you are such a person, but don’t know where to look, your computer is always the place to start. A search for bulk perfume bottles should yield you results, and well as a search by the same name on eBay and other auction sites. 

Look around for the perfect kind of perfume bottles for your needs, and then get the best price you can. If something is just too expensive, try to bargain with the seller. You never know, this may work in your favor. A word of warning, however, would be to make sure you know exactly what you are buying. Some perfume bottles are made to spray on perfume, and this may not work well with lotions. Body spray, on the other hand, is perfect for this type of bottle. If you are selling lotions, perhaps the roll-on type of perfume bottle is just what you need.
